You're a Rock Star

My grandson turned 9 last month along with his twin sister, but this is the card I made for him because a few years ago, I bought him a guitar for Christmas.  He was thrilled and wants to learn how to play.  Maybe someday, he will be a Rock Star!

Stamp Set:  Rock Star

Cardstock:  Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, Basic Black, Basic White, 12” x 12” Stargazing DSP

Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento

Stampin’ Blends:  Real Red, Basic Black

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Radiating Stitches Dies, Rock Star Dies,

Mini Dots, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals

 

1.     The base of the card is Basic Gray cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at 5-1/2” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Basic Black cardstock cut at 3-7/8” x 5-1/8” and adhered to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue/

3.    The third layer is the Stargazing DSP cut at 3-3/4” x 5” ad adhered to the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

4.    Die-cut the Radiating Stitches Dies from Basic White cardstock.

5.    Ink up the guitar with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on scrap paper and color it in with the Stampin’ Blends.  Die-cut it out with the Rock Star Dies.  Adhere to the Radiating Stitches Basic White.  Adhere the guitar with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

6.    Die-cut the label from Basic Gray and ink up the “You’re a Rock Star” with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

7.    Die cut the stars from Smoky Slate cardstock and attach with Mini Dots.
