Simply Zinnia Seed Packed & Mini Pot Holder

This is a little plant holder that we made at our club workshop on Sunday.  The instructions came from Debra Harrison and I think it turned out adorable and it's actually very easy to make.  I tried to find the items locally, such as the 2" Terracotta pots, 3" x 5" Clear Bags, Zinnia flowers seeds packs, but bought them from Amazon.  Here are my instructions per her email:

Stamp Set: Simply Zinnia

Cardstock:  Lemon Lime Twist, Basic White, Flowering Zinnias DSP

Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento

Dies:  Stylish Shapes (circle)

Embellishments:  Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins, Silver and White Sheer Ribbon

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Tear and Tape, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals, 2" Terracottage pots, 3" x 5" Clear Bags, and Zinnia Flower seeds.

1.     Cut Lemon Lime Twist cardstock at 4-1/4” x 11 and score at ½”, 2-1/2”, 3-1/2”, and 5-1/2”.

2.    Die-cut or punch an approximate 1-3/4” circle hole on scored end using the Stylish Shapes Die (third from the smallest).

3.    Burnish the score lines and fold in box so finished side of the circle is on top.

4.    Before assembling box, adhere a 4” x 5-1/4” green deco print from the Flowering Zinnias DSP to large upper section using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

5.    Then, adhere ½” section to the large upper panel using Tear and Tape.

6.    Adhere only the ends of a 1-3/4” x 4-1/4” green striped DSP to the side edges of the upper panel on front about the middle to create a pocket band for the flower seed packet using Tear and Tape.

7.    Fussy cut zinnia flowers from Flowering Zinnias DSP and adhere on pocked band with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

8.    Insert zinnia seed packet behind pocket band.

9.    Embellish pocked band with 3 Shiny Sequins.

10.  Adhere a 1” x 4-1/4” melon print DSP to the front of the box.

11.   Ink up “Sending you Flowers…” sentiment from the Simply Zinnia stamp set on a 5/8” x 3-7/8” strip of Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

12.  Adhere the sentiment strip on melon print DSP.

13.  Insert a 2" mini-Terracotta pot in the hole, securing with a Dimensional on the bottom.

14.  Add treats inside a 3” x 5” cello bag, tying off with a ribbon bow.
