Love Is Kindess Basket card

Just love using the new Berry Basket Die, so decided to create a card using it.  I cut a single basket using the Crumb Cake and then cut it in half.  I folded it up on the score line and created a trim for the basket using the Coastal Cabana cardstock.  I used the flowers from  Love is Kindness on a tag that I made using the Ornate Tag Topper Punch and colored them in with markers.  The colors are Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Blushing Bride and Wild Wasabi.  I stamped the flower set again on a scrap of Whisper White and colored in a few more colors to attach on top of the other flowers to give it a dimensional look.  I attached the Coastal Cabana Thick Baker's Twine to the tag.  The "Happy Spring" is from the stamp set Crazy About You.  The background is Daffodil Delight and the Spring Flowers Embossing Folder on a base card of Coastal Cabana.

Flower Shop and Perfect Pennants

The base of this card is Whisper White.  I added a layer of Pistachio Pudding, but ran it through the Big Shot with the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder.  Then I used the Ovals Collection to make an oval in the center and attached to the base of my card.  I stamped "Life doesn't have to be perfect to be wonderful" inside the oval.  I stamped three Flower Shop flowers with Memento Ink Pad and colored them in with the medium and dark Coastal Cabana Blendabilities and attached them with Dimensionals.  I then added the Coastal Cabana Thick Baker's Twine with a Glue Dot.

Blended Hope and and Bloom with Hope

This card was made using the new Blendabilities, but I think I need a little more practice with Coastal Cabana markers.  Still, it was a fun card to make by using a masking technique using the big flower from Blended Bloom.  I also used the Daffodil Delight markers for the small Bloom with Hope flowers. The Blendabilities come in a set of 3 markers, per assortment, light, medium and dark for $11.95.  They are on page 212 of the new catalog, and since they are alcohol based markers, you need to use the Memento ink pad which is water-based and fast drying.  This will prevent smearing.. There is also a skin tone assortment.  Just can't wait until they are available to everyone.  The yarn on my card is called Coastal Cabana Thick Baker's Twine which really accents my card, I think. The idea behind this card came from Sandi MacIver.

Boardwalk Fun - Spinner Card

This is another spinner card that I made following Debra Harrison's instructions.  I plan to have my card class make this one.  It uses ...
