Peaceful Deer

This is my first time using the Peaceful Deer stamp and the Peaceful Prints DSP.  I used the Deer Builder Punch but traced the deer on the back to be able to punch him out.  Afterward, someone had punched out vellum and folded it so it would be a lot easier to align it on the back to see where to punch.  The Peaceful Prints DSP can be earned free with a $50 order during Sale-a-bration.
Here are my instructions:

Stamp Set:  Peaceful Deer

Cardstock:  Thick Basic White, Basic White, Peaceful Prints DSP

Ink:  Garden Green, Real Red

Stampin’ Blend:  Real Red

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Paper Trimmer, Stitched Rectangle Dies, Deer Builder Punch, Banners Pick a Punch, ¼” Black and White Gingham Ribbon, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Mini Glue Dots, and Dimensionals.

1.     The base of the card is Thick Basic White cardstock cut 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at 5-1/2” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is the Peaceful Prints DSP cut at 4” x 5-1/4” and adhered to the front of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Die-cut a rectangle using the Stitched Rectangle Dies in the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.

4.    Ink up the tree stamps with Garden Green ink and stamp randomly on the DSP.

5.    Adhere to a 3-3/8” x 4-1/2” of Thick Whisper White cardstock.

6.    The deer was traced on the back of the DSP so that it could be punched out with the Deer Builder Punch.  Put Dimensionals on the back of the deer and attach him to the DSP layers.

7.    Use the Real Red Stampin’ Blend to color the ribbon.  Let dry!  Make a bow too.

8.    Ink up the sentiment “Merry Christmas” with Real Red ink on ½” Basic White cardstock.  Punch one end with the Banners Pick a Punch.

9.    Wrap the ribbon around the two layers and add the bow with Glue Dots.

10.  Put the Basic White sentiment below it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
