Seasons of Fun - Pumpkin Girl

This pumpkin girl from the Seasons of Fun host set reminds me of a costume I made for my sister-in-law many years ago.   They went to a costume party and her husband went as Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater.  They won First Place.  It was hysterical!  Anyway, I fell in love with this adorable Seasons of Fun stamp set which can be purchased on page 78 if you are a host who earns enough for a workshop.  Then I used this set in the annual catalog  to make this cute card using the sentiment from  Banner Year

Here are my instructions to make this card:

Stamp Sets:  Seasons of Fun, Banner Year

Cardstock:  Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Basic White, 6” x 6” Cute Halloween DSP

Ink:  Memento Black

Stampin’ Blends:  Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Cajun Craze

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Layering Circles Dies, Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Pumpkin Pie cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at 5-1/2” in the middle.

2.    The second layers are Basic Black cut at 3-5/8” x 7-7/8” and Basic White cut at 3-1/2” x 4-3/4”.  Insert the Basic White into the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder and run through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.  Layer cardstock together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then adhere to the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Cut the Cute Halloween black and orange striped DSP at 2-5/8” x 3-7/8” and layer to the Basic Black 2-3/4” x 4” with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Adhere to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

4.    Ink up the pumpkin girl stamp with Memento Black ink on Basic White and die-cut with the Layering Circles Dies. Color the pumpkin girl in with the Stampin’ Blends.

5.    Die-cut a scallop circle of Pumpkin Pie with the Layering Circles Dies.  Adhere layers together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and pop up with Dimensionals.

6.    Ink up the sentiment “Happy Fall, Ya’ll” with Memento Black ink on a strip of Basic White cardstock cut at ½” x 2-3/4”.  Adhere below the pumpkin girl.
