Beside Me - Celebrating You

This is a card I made for my June swap.  The theme was Masculine Cards which are sometimes harder to make.  Instead of making it a Father's Day Card, I made it into a celebration card, so it could be for a birthday.

Stamp Set:  Beside Me

Cardstock:  Misty Moonlight, Very Vanilla, Let’s Go Fishing DSP

Ink:  Pebbled Path, Misty Moonlight

Stampin’ Blends:  Crumb Cake, Bubble Bath, Wild Wheat, Blueberry Bushel, Lemon Lolly, Pecan Pie, Light Natural Tone

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Deckled Rectangles, Brushed Metallic Backed Dots, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Misty Moonlight cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at 5-1/2”.

2.    The second layer is Let’s Go Fishing DSP cut at 4” x 5-1/4” and adhered to the front base of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Using the Deckled Rectangles, fourth from the largest, die-cut Very Vanilla cardstock.  Then using the third from the largest, die-cut Misty Moonlight.

4.    Ink up the father/two kids’ fishing stamp with Pebbled Path ink more towards the left on the Very Vanilla cardstock.  Color them in with the Stampin’ Blends.  Ink up the birds with Pebbled Path to the left side of them in the sky. Ink up the sentiment “Celebrating You Today” with Misty Moonlight ink at the top right.

5.    Add three Dots below the sentiment.

6.    Adhere to the Misty Moonlight cardstock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Add Dimensionals to the back and adhere to the front in the center.

7.    For the inside:  Cut Very Vanilla at 4” x 5-1/4” and ink up the sentiment “Grateful for You all Year Long” with Misty Moonlight ink.
