Rocking Skeleton

This is another rocker card that I made doing using the Bag of Bones stamp set.  There is just so many possibilities to making these rock cards.  They are so much fun to make.  Here are my instructions for making this card:

Stamp Set:  Bag of Bones

Cardstock:  Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Smoky Slate, Basic White, Bag of Bones DSP

Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Deckled Circle Dies, Bone Folder, Bag of Bones Dies, Happy Label Pick a Punch, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Pumpkin Pie cardstock.  Die-cut a 4” circle from the cardstock with the Deckled Circle Dies.

2.    Score in half at 2”.  Use a Bone Folder to burnish the score line.

3.    Die-cut deckled circle from the Bag of Bones DSP.  Fold in half and burnish with the Bone Folder.  Attach to the Pumpkin Pie circle with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

4.    Cut a ½” x 2” piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock.  Score at ½”, 1”, and 1-¾”.  Fold and burnish score marks with Bone Folder.  This will hold the base together.  Add adhesive to the two ends and attach to the inside of the card base.

5.    Die-cut a Basic Black tombstone and a Smoky Slate tomb stone using the Bag of Bones Dies.  Glue together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

6.    Die-cut a fence from Smoky Slate cardstock using the Bag of Bones dies.

7.    Attach to the Pumpkin Pie layered circles with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

8.    Attach a skeleton and a cat with stampin’ Dimensionals

9.    Ink up the sentiment “No Bones About It you’re a sweet friend” with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on approximate a ¾” x 3-1/2” Basic White label.  Insert into the Happy Label Pick a Punch at each end.  Attach with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
