Beary Cute - Rocker Card

Here is a rocker card that I made using the Beary Cute Bears.  I thought the saying "Christmas is Better Together" was the perfect sentiment for my two bears and their Christmas tree that I cut from the Beary Christmas DSP.  These are so much fun to make and here are my instructions on how I made this one:

Stamp Set:  Beary Cute

Cardstock:  Balmy Blue, Basic White, Beary Christmas DSP

Ink:  Misty Moonlight

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Paper Trimmer, Deckled Circle Dies,  Beary Cute Punch, Bone Folder, Paper Snips, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Adhesive Backed Star Trinkets, Festive Pearls

1.     The base of the rocker card is Balmy Blue die-cut with the 4th from the largest Deckled Circle Dies.  Fold in half and burnish with a Bone Folder.

2.    The second layer is from the Beary Christmas DSP die-cut with the 6th from the largest Deckled Circle Dies.  Fold in half and burnish with a Bone Folder.

3.    Adhere the DSP two layers together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

4.    Cut a 1” x 2” strip of Balmy Blue and score at ¾”, 1” and 1-3/4”.  Fold on the score lines and burnish with a Bone Folder.  Adhere Multipurpose Glue to each end and attach inside to keep the layers together while rocking.

5.    Decorate by fussy cutting the bears and the tree from the DSP with the Paper Snips.  Attach to the top of the rocker with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

6.    Ink up the sentiment “Christmas is Better Together” and trim it out into three sections with the Paper Snips and attach with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

7.  Add Festive Pearls to the tree and a star at the top from the Adhesive Backed Star Trinkets.  Now, watch it rock back and forth!
