Scenic Coast - Shadow Stamping

This was a fun card to make.  I was challenged by my friend to make a shadow stamping card using the Scenic Coast DSP.  These are my instructions:

Stamp Set: Scenic Coast

Cardstock:  Blueberry Bushel, Basic White, Scenic Coast DSP

Ink:  Blueberry Bushel

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Stylish Shapes Dies, Scenic Coast Dies, Sunset Sparkle Sequins, Paper Trimmer, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Mini Glue Dots

1.     The base of the card is Blueberry Bushel cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Basic White cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4”.

3.    Cut out 3” x 4” of DSP.  Then cut it into 1” x 1” squares, leaving them in the order of the DSP.

4.    Cut out 1” x 1” squares of Blueberry Bushel cardstock.

5.    Add each 1” square DSP to the 1” Blueberry Bushel cardstock, but offset it.

6.    Let dry!  Lay them out on the Basic White card before applying with Multipurpose Glue.

7.    Then start at the left top, leaving a border of the Basic White cardstock.

8.    Take your next one and align it with the first one, leaving space between each one.

9.    I stamped the sailboat and seagulls with Blueberry Bushel on Basic White cardstock and then die-cut Blueberry Bushel seagulls with the dies.  Glue them together and attach with Mini Glue Dots or Dimensionals.

10.  I stamped “Happy Birthday” sentiment on Basic White and die-cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies and attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
