Howl-o-ween Treat and Cheer All Year

The new Holiday Catalog comes out September 1 but I couldn't wait to pre-order this cute Howl-o-Ween Treat stamp set.  This was an idea for a card similar to one that I did a few years ago with Carved and Candlelit so I wanted to recreate it using the new stamp sets.  I will have to scan my original card so you can see how I did that one too. The hat is attached with a dimensional so that the hat can be work by the owl and when you pull up the insert, the hat is worn by the skull. The other stamp set I used for the "Happy Haunting" is the Cheer All Year, also is the 2015 Holiday Catalog.

B.Y.O.P.

This gift card is one of the items we made at my recent club workshop.  The stamp set "Buy Your Own Gift" is one of my favorites and useful stamps in the annual catalog.  You can even purchase it as a Bundle with the Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlits Die on page 62.  However, I used a different design for this gift card from a swap I received from Audrey Romonosky.  The base of my card is Old Olive and is cut at 8 1/2" x 5 1/2".  It is scored at 1 1/2" and then at 4 1/4".  The DSP is from the Pretty Petals DSP pack and cut at 1 1/2" x 5 1/4".  I stamped the B.Y.O.P. with Old Olive ink on Very Vanilla cardstock. I made the Calypso Coral bow with the Bow Builder Punch. The ribbon is retired, unfortunately because I didn't have any other Old Olive ribbon, but I'm sure the cotton Pear Pizzazz ribbon would work.

Dotty Angles, Bloom for You and Remarkable You

I'm using some of my favorite colors again (Soft Sky, Bermuda Bay and Island Indigo).  I found a similar card on Pinterest made by Michelle Gleeson, so I wanted to create one of my own.  The stamp sets I used were Dotty Angles, Bloom for You and Remarkable You.  On the 3 3/4" x 5" Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the Dotty Angles with Soft Sky ink, and then cleaned my stamp and inked it up with Pool Party and stamped about an inch from the first image.  I cleaned my stamp and inked it up with Island Indigo.  The Bloom for You stamp is inked up with Soft Sky ink and stamped on Soft Sky cardstock.  Then I punched it out with the Fun Flower Punch.   I used VersaMark and Clear Embossing Powder and heat set it to give a nice shiny appearance.  I stamped the flower again with Island Indigo ink on Soft Sky cardstock and punched out only the center of the flower with the 7/8" Circle Scallop Punch.  I attached to the flower with a Dimensional and placed it on the front of my card with Dimensionals.  I punched out little flowers using the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack (flower) and used the VersaMark ink pad again with Clear Embossing Powder and heat set it them also. Then I punched out little Island Indigo centers for the flowers with the 1/4" Handheld Punch. I attached them with Glue Dots near the verse "I'm So Grateful For You" that was stamped with an Island Indigo marker (Omitting the "and").

Paper Pumpkin August 2015

Card for my Grandtwins!!

My daughter had twins (Boy and Girl) in February and they were premature, so we just had the baby shower for her this past Saturday.  This is the card I made for her baby shower which is called a Double Slider card.  I learned how to make these from a video from Julie Davison. HERE   The sets I used were Something for Baby and A Dozen Thoughts.  Something for Baby has the Framelits to match called Baby's First.  The colors I used were Wild Wasabi, Perfect Plum and Marina Mist.  The ribbon I used is the 5/8" Striped Cotton Black Berry and the Baker's Twine in Old Olive.  I used
the Tear and Tape to hold it together on this one.  Fast Fuse works very well too once I learned how to use it correctly from the Stampin' Up! video FAST FUSE VIDEO

Watercolor Wings in Purples

This is another Watercolor Wings cards that I made using the colors Wisteria Wonder, Perfect Plum and Blackberry Bliss for the 2-step stamping.  I used Whisper White cardstock  for the base of my card, and Blackberry Bliss for the top running it through the Fluttering TIEF in the Big Shot.  The bottom is Perfect Plum and I stamped Happy Birthday from the hostess set called "Happy Birthday, Everyone" on the bottom Perfect Plum cardstock with Blackberry Bliss ink.  I wrapped the 5/8" Blackberry Bliss Striped Cotton Ribbon around the middle. I double layered the butterfly to make him pop up more and added him with Dimensionals.  I also attached Metallic Silver Thread with Glue Dots for his feelers. On the inside of my card, I used the "Remembering Your Birthday" which is perfect for birthday card verses.  This would make a perfect card for someone who loves the color purple as well as butterflies.

POP-UP Diorama Birthday Card

This is another Diorama Card I made but with the stamp set Build a Birthday and Sprinkles of Life.  The ink colors I used are Cucumber Crush, Watermelon Wonder, Delightful Dijon, Soft Suede, and Memento Black.  I used the Itty Bitty Accents Flower Punch, Rhinestones, 1-3/4" and 2" Circle Punches.  I made another one just like this one for a swap but used different colors and forgot to scan it.  You can view how to make this type card HERE

Watercolor Wings in Blue/Greens

Just love this set called Watercolor Wings with 15 Photopolymer stamps.  It coordinates with the Bold Butterfly Framelits #138135 which you can purchase as a bundle to save 15%.  It also coordinates with the  Butterfly Thinlets #137360.  The background is Whisper White using the new Fluttering TIEF.  My favorites Stampin' Up! colors seem to be Pool Party, Island Indigo and Bermuda Bay as you might have noticed. The stamp set is a two-step stamping technique and very easy to do with the Photopolymer stamps and Clear Blocks a, d, e and g. If you would like to own this set, you can go to SHOP NOW and/or purchase it HERE
