Friendly Hello

This is a card that I cased somewhat from Amy K, but I didn't add a butterfly.  It is the Sale-a-Bration set called Friendly Hello which comes with the Friendly Hello DSP if you spend $100 on Stampin' Up! product, then you get it FREE.  The Designer Series Paper is so beautiful.  You can even color on it with the Stampin' Blends if you wish.

Here are the instructions for my card:

Stamp Set:  Friendly Hello

Cardstock:  Thick Basic White, Vellum, Basic White, Friendly Hello DSP

Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento

Stampin’ Blends: Pool Party, Petal Pink, Crumb Cake

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Scalloped Contour Dies, Banners Pick a Punch, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Thick Basic White cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at 5-1/2” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is the Petal Pink Friendly Hello DSP cut at 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” and adhered to the front of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    The third layer is Vellum cut at 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” and adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue but in the middle so it doesn’t show.

4.    Cut a Pool Party strip of the Friendly Hello DSP at 1” x 5-1/2” and use the Banners Pick a Punch to flag the end.  Adhere over the Vellum on the left side.

5.    Die-cut the second-largest Scalloped Contour Die from Basic White cardstock.  Ink up the bird/flowers with Tuxedo Black Memento ink at the top.  Color them in with the Stampin’ Blends.  Ink up the sentiment “Hello Friend” with Tuxedo Black Memento and stamp it at the bottom.  Adhere with Dimensionals to the card front.
