Cup of Tea - It's Time for Tea

This is another card I made with the new stamp set called Cup of Tea that comes as a bundle with the Cup of Tea Dies.  It will be available on May 3 as well as many other items I used to make this card.

Stamp Set:  Cup of Tea

Cardstock:  Orchid Oasis, Basic White, Sweet Sorbet, 6” x 6” Tea Boutique DSP, 6” x 6” In-color Glimmer Paper

Ink: Sweet Sorbet, Orchid Oasis, Garden Green

Other:  Mini Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Teacup Dies, Fabulous Frames Dies, Paper Trimmer, 2022-2024 In-Color Baker’s Twine, 2022-2024 In-Color Matte Decorative Dots, Adhesive Sheets, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Glue Dots, Mini Dimensionals, and Stampin’ Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Orchid Oasis cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at 5-1/2” in the middle.

2.     The second layer is Tea Boutique DSP cut at 4” x 5-1/4” and adhered to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.     Cut a piece of the DSP at 1-1/2” x 4” and adhere it to the bottom layer of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

4.     Die-cut a Basic White frame from the Fabulous Frames Dies in the Mini Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.  Adhere the frame to the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Save the leftover Basic White rectangle in the center.

5.     Ink up the leaves and stems stamp with Garden Green ink and stamp near the top of the Basic White rectangle.

6.     With the Paper Trimmer, cut a rectangle at 2-1/2” x 3-1/8” with the Orchid Oasis cardstock.  Layer the Basic White rectangle to the Orchid Oasis rectangle with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Add layered rectangles with Dimensionals on the back to the inside of the Basic White frame.

7.     Die-cut both Sweet Sorbet and Orchid Oasis cardstock flowers.  Adhere three flowers with Mini Dimensionals to the leaves and stems.  Add Decorative Dots to the centers.

8.     Die-cut a solid cup from Orchid Oasis Glimmer Paper.  Die-cut a Basic White flower outline teacup with Adhesive Sheet adhered to the back of the Basic White cardstock so that it will adhere to the Glimmer teacup.

9.     Cut about 1-1/2” of the Orchid Oasis Baker’s Twine and attach it to the back of the cup with a Glue Dot.

10.     Ink up the sentiment “It’s Time for Tea” with Sweet Sorbet ink onto Basic White cardstock.  Ink up the outline tag stamp with Orchid Oasis ink.  Die-cut with the Teacup Dies.  Add a Dimensional to the back and add the other end of the Baker’s Twine to the tag.  Adhere to the cup.

11.     Add the glimmer teacup to the card below the stems and leaves.
