Nature's Prints - You're on My Mind

Night of Navy is one of my favorite Stampin' Up! colors and the new 12" x 12" Sun Prints DSP is so beautiful with the colors Gray Granite, Night of Navy, Pacific Point, and Starry Sky.  The stamp set that goes with it is called Nature's Prints.  I also used the new 3D Fern Embossing Folder.

Here are my instructions for making this card:

Stamp Set:  Nature’s Prints

Cardstock:  Night of Navy, Starry Sky, Basic White, Sun Prints DSP

Ink:  Night of Navy

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, 3D Fern Embossing Folder, Natural Prints Dies, 1/8" Starry Sky Metallic Woven Ribbon, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Night of Navy cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at 5-1/2” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Basic White cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4”.

3.    The third layer is the Sun Sprints DSP cut at 3-7/8” x 5-1/8” and adhered to the Basic White layer.  Insert layers into the 3D Fern Embossing Folder and run it through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.  Adhere to the front of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

4.    Cut a strip of Night of Navy cardstock at 2-1/8” x 5-1/8”.  Cut a strip of Basic White cardstock at 2” x 5”.

5.    Ink up the sentiment “You’re on My Mind” with Night of Navy ink and stamp at the bottom of the Basic White strip and then insert it into the 3D Fern Embossing Folder and run it through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.  Adhere to the Night of Navy strip with Multipurpose Glue.

6.    Ink up some of the fern stamps with Night of Navy ink and die-cut them out with the Natural Prints Dies.

7.    Die-cut some of the fern stamps using the new Starry Sky cardstock.  Arrange on the Basic White strip and attach with Multipurpose Glue and Dimensionals.

8.    Wrap the ribbon around both layers and tie it in a bow.

9.    Attach the layers to the center of the card using Dimensionals.

10.  For the inside, ink up a fern with Night of Navy ink and stamp on the lower right side of 4” x 5-1/4” Basic White cardstock and insert with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
