Hues of Happiness

This card was made with the new 12" x 12" Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper.  It is such lovely paper.  I purchased the Hues of Happiness Suite on page 108 that comes with the stamp set Happiness Abounds, the Blossoming Happiness Dies, and the Glossy Dots Assortment.  The flowers in the DSP were die-cut with the dies which makes it such a beautiful card.  They can also be stamped and colored in with the Stampin' Blends if you prefer.  Here are the instructions for my card:

Stamp Set:  Happiness Abounds

Cardstock:  Flirty Flamingo, Basic White, 12” x 12” Hues of Happiness DSP

Ink:  Flirty Flamingo on the inside “Happy Birthday” sentiment

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Die Machine, Blossoming Happiness Dies, Glossy Dots Assortment, Take Your Pick Die Brush, Dimensionals, and Multipurpose Liquid Glue

1.     The base of the card is Flirty Flamingo cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is the Hues of Happiness DSP cut at 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” and adhered to the front of the card.

3.    The Basic White card is the third layer.  It's 3-1/4” x 4-1/4” and it uses the large die from the Blossoming Happiness Dies.  Use it in the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine 3 times horizontally.  Use the Die Brush to remove some of the die cuts, but some of them will remain.

4.    Die-cut flowers and leaves from the Hues of Happiness DSP using the Blossoming Happiness Dies, and adhere with Multipurpose Glue and Dimensionals.

5.    On the inside, use the sentiment from the stamp set that says “Happy Birthday” with Flirty Flamingo ink.

6.    Then add three Glossy Dots.
