Crafting with You - Birthday

This is a card I made today.  I discovered that this Designer Series Paper coordinates with the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder.  If you line it up just right, it embosses the DSP exactly where the design is.  It so cool.

Stamp Set:  Crafting with You

Cardstock:  Boho Blue, Basic White, Countryside Inn DSP

Ink:  Versamark, White Embossing Powder

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder,

Countryside Corners Dies, Night of Navy Bordered Ribbon, Glue Dots, Embossing Buddy, Heat Tool, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Boho Blue cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at 5-1/2” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Basic White cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4”.  The third layer is the Countryside Inn DSP cut at 4” x 5-1/4” and inserted into the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder which coordinates together, so line it up be running through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.  Adhere to the Basic White with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Wrap the Night of Navy Bordered Ribbon around both layers and attach the ends with Glue Dots in the front.

4.    Die cut the small Countryside Corner Die from Boho Blue cardstock.  Use the Embossing Buddy over it.  With Versamark ink, stamp the sentiment onto the die.  Sprinkle the White Embossing Powder over it.  Shake off the excess.  Heat set with the Heat Tool.  Attach over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
