Wanted To Say - Feel Better Soon

This is a card that I cased from watching Beth McCullough's video.  I added the Tinsel Gems instead of Rhinestones and/or hearts to mine but I loved her color combination so used the same colors.  The cardstock strips are cut at 1/4" each on Parakeet Party cardstock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stamp Set: None

Cardstock:  Blueberry Bushel, Parakeet Party, Tahitian Tide, Azure Afternoon, and Basic White

Ink:  None

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Paper Trimmer, Wanted to Say Dies, Adhesive Sheets, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Tinsel Gems 4-Pack (Blueberry Bushel), Silicone Mat, Paper Snips, Stampin’ Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Blueberry Bushel cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Parakeet Party cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4”.

3.    With the Paper Trimmer, cut strips ¼” wide and long enough to go across the card Blueberry Bushel, Tahitian Tide, Azure Afternoon and Basic White.

4.    Use the Silicone Mat to lay the Parakeet Party layer on and begin gluing strips down diagonally across the cardstock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and leaving space between each strip.  Once you have 5 strips down, turn and trim off the excess cardstock with the Paper Snips.

5.    Turn the card and start on the side and try to keep the colors in the same sequence as before. Then glue them down the other way as shown in the picture.

6.    Use Adhesive Sheet on the Silver Foil and die cut “Feel Better Soon’ and the background Blueberry Bushel in the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.  Layer together and add Dimensionals to the back.  Adhere to the center of the card.

7.    Add 5 Blueberry Tinsel Gems on the Basic White so they show up.
