Darling Details - Happy Birthday Card

Here is another card I made with the same design as yesterday but with different Designer Series Paper.  This time I used the Delightfully Eclectic DSP on page 129 of the Annual Catalog. #161640 for $30 in the USA.  I taught my club members how to make their cards and everyone brought their own Designer Paper, but they used my ink pads to match. I thank Rhona Wade for this demonstration video.
Here are more details of how I made this card of mine:

Stamp Set:  Darling Details

Cardstock:  Bubble Bath, Basic White, Delightfully Eclectic DSP

Ink:  Bubble Bath, Berry Burst, Old Olive

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Bone Folder, Paper Snips, Radiating Stitches Dies, Darling Details Dies, 3/8” Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack (Bubble Bath), Tinsel Gems 4-Pack (Berry Burst), Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Seal, Stampin’ Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Bubble Bath cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 5-1/2”.

2.    Cut the Delightfully Eclectic DSP at 5-1/4” x 12” and score at 4”, 6”, and 8”.  Fold and burnish with the Bone Folder.  Cut off ¼” inch off the right front and save it.

3.    Using the Darling Details Dies border, cut a Basic White strip about 5-1/2” long but use the Paper Snips to Trim off the excess after you glue it the right side of the DSP but do not let the scallops from the die overlap the card.  It should be even with the back.

4.    Wrap the 20” of Bubble Bath ribbon around the DSP and use some of the Stampin’ Seal to hold it in place on the DSP.

5.    Using the Radiating Stitches Dies and Basic White cardstock, cut two medium rectangles and one large

6.    For the front Basic White medium rectangle stamp “Happy Birthday” using Old Olive ink.  Then stamp the leaves (3-step) using Old Olive ink in the lower left-hand side.

7.    For the flowers, ink up the Berry Burst outline stamp on the 2-1/4” x 2-1/4” square of Basic White.  Then ink up the solid image with Bubble Bath ink. Die-cut with the flower die from the Darling Details Dies.  Die-cut a sprig from Old Olive from the Darling Details Dies.  Add Dimensionals to the back and adhere the Sprig and place in the lower left of the Basic White rectangle.

8.    On the second Radiating Stitched Basic White medium rectangle, ink up “Friend” and die-cut a Bubble Bath flower from the dies.  Cut two of the saved 1/4” DSP at 2-1/4” each and adhere to above and below the flower die with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Adhere the left side only to the middle of the card.

9.    On the large Radiating Stitches, ink up the 2-step flower with same ink pads in the lower left-hand corner.  Adhere to the back side of the card.
