Balloon Celebration

This is a card I made on this beautiful Friday morning.  I used the Balloon Celebration set from the 2016 Occasions Catalog as well as the Balloon Bouquet Punch.  The colors I used were Bermuda Bay, Basic Black, and Whisper White.  I punched out the balloons from the Bermuda Bay cardstock and attached Bermuda Bay Baker's Twine.  I used the White Gel Pen on the balloons. I inserted the Whisper White into the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder and ran it through the Big Shot. The stars are punched out of Silver Glimmer Paper using the Itty Bitty Star Punch and adhered with Glue Dots. I made the banner by using Whisper White cardstock and used the Hexagon Punch on the ends.  Then I sponged it with Bermuda Bay ink.  It will make a nice birthday card for someone special!

Christmas Cuties Angel

This is sort of a case of a card that I saw on a blog from Founder's Circle by Esther Boyle, and wanted to share my version on my blog.. I love this set called Christmas Cuties.  It is in the 2015 Holiday Catalog and has a set of 7 with an elf, angel and a little kid.  It also has three verses and a stamp with snow.  I used the Softly Falling TIEF on Whisper White.  I used the Oval Collection Framelits die to cut her out after coloring her and layered it on a silver Metallic Foil Doily.  The "Merry" is cut from Silver Foil using the Christmas Greetings Thinlets Die.  The star is from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack, and also cut from the Silver Foil.

Be the Star

This is a card I made for a swap last month and just now posting it.  The stamp set is Be the Star stamped on Whisper White cardstock with Night of Navy ink.  Then I used the Stars Framelits to cut out the star.  The colors I used are Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy and Whisper White.  The base of the card is Whisper White cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4" in the middle.  The Night of Navy cardstock is cut at 4" x 5 1/4" and I ran it through the Big Shot using the Stylish Stripes TIEF.  The punch is the Confetti Stars Border. The Cherry Cobbler stars were punched out with the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack star. The ribbon is the 1-1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon.

Fall is in the air!  Yes, it is finally sweater weather here in Indiana.  It has been a hot summer, so it's nice to have cooler weather....
