Seaside Shore - Kissing Fish

This is another Seaside Shore card that we made at a recent club workshop.  I taught my club members how to do a reverse stamping image by using a Window Sheet to transfer the image onto Whisper White card stock and then stamp again on Whisper White card stock not using the window sheet, so both images are reversed from each other.  However, they had to color in both fish with Stampin' Up! markers so that they would look the same colors.  They also used the new Seaside TIEF to create the water effect but first stamped the seaweed at the bottom with Island Indigo and then color them with markers before running it through the Big Shot.  I had them use the new Layered Circle Framelits in the Big Shot.  They used direct to paper with ink pad to the Whisper White Circle by dragging a Pool Party Stampin' Spot across the top of the circle and then sponging Sahara Sand ink at the bottom of the circle. and the starfish were stamped with Calypso Coral ink.  The fish are attached to the circle with Dimensionals.  The base of my card is Pool Party with a layer of Dapper Denim and another layer of Pool Party. I also did this card for my swaps this month with four other demos.

Baby Bear in Dapper Denim

Baby Bear looks so realistic, doesn't he?  This is one of the cards we made at my club workshop on Sunday using the new set Baby Bear set.  It is a 3-set stamp set using Chocolate Chip, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake in that order.  I gave my club members a choice for "thank you" or "celebrate" for their banner from the new set Thoughtful Banners.  Thoughtful Banners also has a matching Duet Banner Punch which can be purchased as a Bundle or sold separately.  The base of my card is Chocolate chip and the next layer is Crumb Cake but inserted into the Happy Hearts TIEF and run through the Big Shot twice so that the hearts are horizontal.  The Dabber Denim DSP is the next layer which covers the seam of where the hearts meet.  The little bow is a 2-step with Marina Mist first and then Dapper Denim and then cut out with Paper Snips.

Sweet Cupcake

Since it is July, I thought a patriotic birthday card would be very appropriate even though the Fourth of July has passed.  It is still July and we should celebrate our freedom anytime and especially birthdays.  I made this for a demo friend of mine who has a birthday next week, so I need to get it in the mail today if it is going to arrive on time.  The base of my card is Night of Navy, then Tempting Turquoise.  The Whisper White layer is next using the Lucky Stars TIEF.  Then I used Endless Birthday stamp set for the "Happy Birthday" sentiment.  The cupcake is from the new set in the catalog called Sweet Cupcake and I also used the Cupcake Cutouts Framelits which can be purchased as a bundle.
