Hydrangea Haven with Glass Designer Acetate

The Hydrangea Hill Suite was the first thing I fell in love with the new 2021 January-June Mini Catalog.
I loved everything that came with it, the Hydrangea Haven Bundle, Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Designer Acetate, the Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon, the Pastel Pearls, and the Hydrangea Hill DSP.  I love hydrangea flowers and I've made a few cards with them.  Here are the instructions on how I made this card.

Stamp Set:  Hydrangea Haven

Cardstock:  Seaside Spray, Whisper White, Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Designer Acetate,

Ink:  Memento Black, Seaside Spray, Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green,

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Hydrangea Dies, 3/8” Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon, Pastel Pearls, Glue Dots, Blender Brush, Dimensionals, Multipurpose Glue, Wink of Stella

1.      The base of the card is Seaside Spray cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at 5-1/2” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Designer Acetate cut at 4” x 5-1/4” and adhered to the base with Multipurpose Glue.

3.    Ink up the large Hydrangea stamp with Memento Black ink on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock.

4.    Ink up the stem/leaves stamp with Granny Apple Green ink and stamp directly on top of the first one.

5.    Take the small water-color stamp and ink it up with Seaside Spray ink and stamp directly on top of the hydrangea flower three times.  Then clean it off and do the same in Gorgeous Grape two times.

6.    Take the Blender Brush in Seaside Spray to cover the entire hydrangea flower.

7.    Die-cut it out with the Hydrangea Dies and adhere with Dimensionals to a 3” x 4” Whisper White cardstock.  Layer onto 3-1/8” x 4-1/8” Seaside Spray Cardstock.

8.    Tie a bow with the Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon and add a Glue Dot to attach to the stem.  Add three Pastel Pearls.  Add Dimensionals to the back of the layers and attach at an angle on the card.

9.    Ink up the sentiment “I appreciate all the little things you do” and die-cut and then attach to the top right using Glue and a Dimensional.

10.  Add Wink of Stella to the Hydrangea.
