Bag of Bones - Gift Card Holder on the inside

Yay!  I have a new printer!  So, I'm back in business and able to scan my cards again.  This is another card made with the Bag of Bones stamp set that will be available tomorrow, Wednesday, September 6th.  I've added the embellishments that Glow-in-the-Dark and the Glow-in-the-Dark Paper for the "Boo" and the "Happy Halloween".  Be sure to check out pages 48 and 49 of the new 2023 September-December catalog (Holiday Catalog).    I used everything on this page to create this card including the Them Bones Designer Series Paper.

Directions on how I made this card:

Stamp Set:  Bag of Bonesm Tricks & Treats

Cardstock:  Basic Black, Cajun Craze, Basic White, Glow-in-the Dark Paper, 12” x 12” Them Bones DSP

Ink:  Basic Black, Versamark, White Embossing Powder

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Paper Trimmer, Bone Folder, Glow-in-the Dark Bats and Ghosts, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Embossing Buddy, Heat Tool, Bags of Bones Dies, Tear and Tape, Adhesive Sheets, Stampin’ Black Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Basic Black cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at 4-1/2”, 5-1/2”, 6-1/2”, and 8-1/4”.

2.    Use the Bone Folder to burnish each score line.  Glue the two middle sections together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  It will look like a book binding card at this point.

3.    Cut Basic Black cardstock at 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” for the front panel and glue to the front flap that is folded towards the left.

4.    For the front Panel design, I cut from the Them Bones DSP at 3-1/4” x 5” to layer onto Cajun Craze cardstock cut at 3-1/2” x 5-1/4” with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

5.    Ink up the skeleton, dog and cat with Versamark on Basic Black cardstock that has been treated with the Embossing Buddy.  Add White Embossing Powder and shake off excess.  Heat set with the Heat Tool and die-cut with the Bag of Bones Dies.  Attach to the scene with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.   Add Glow-in-the-Dark Bats and Ghosts.

6.    I stamped the sentiment “No Bones About It, You’re a Sweet Friend” on Basic White cardstock and then die-cut it out with the Stylish Shapes Dies banner.  I glued it at the bottom right Stampin’ Black Dimensionals.

7.    For the center panel, I cut Cajun Craze cardstock 3” x 3-1/2” with a layer of Basic White cardstock cut at 2-1/2” x 3”.  I stamped “Happy Halloween” with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on the Basic White cardstock.

8.    For the Gift card:  Cut Basic Black cardstock at 3” x 5” and scored at 3-1/2” x 4”.  Burnish with the Bone Folder.  Attach the left flap to the very bottom of the inside of the card.

9.    Cut Cajun Craze cardstock at 2-1/2” x 3” and adhere Tear and Tape on sides and bottom and leave the top to insert a gift card.  Die-cut “Boo” with the Glow-in-the Dark Specialty Paper using Adhesive Sheets and the die from the Tricks & Treats Dies.  Attach to the Cajun Craze and add two Glow-in-the-Dark Ghosts.
