Autumn Leaves - I'm Thankful for Card Club

This is a card we will be making in my Card Club this Sunday!  Shhh!  Don't look if you don't want to see how it's made until then.  It uses the All About Autumn Suite.  The All About Autumn Designer Series Paper is absolutely beautiful but keeps getting sold out!  It will return on October 23, so be sure to check out my Online store early that day.

Here are the instructions for my card which I was inspired by Lisa Freeman but changed the colors, label and thread to Jute.

Stamp Set:  Autumn Leaves

Cardstock:  Very Vanilla, Copper Clay, All About Autumn DSP

Ink:  Copper Clay

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Distressed Tiles 3D Embossing Folder, Exposed Bricks 3D Embossing Folder, Paper Snips, Autumn Leaves Dies, Copper & Natural Ribbon, Glue Dots, Adhesive Backed Speckled Dots, 2023-2025 In-Color Jute Trim. Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Very Vanilla cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Copper Clay cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4” and inserted into the Distressed Tiles 3D Emboss Folder and run through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.

3.    Cut an approximate ½” x 4” strip from the All About Autumn DSP and adhere to the left side of the Copper Clay leaving a strip showing with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

4.    Use the Paper Snips to cut off if too long.

5.    Cut ribbon approximately 4-1/2” to wrap around close to the right side of the DSP strip and attach in the back with Glue Dots or Tear and Tape.

6.    Die-cut a large leave from the DSP that looks like a cushion and emboss it with the Exposed Bricks 3D EF.  Attach to the upper middle part of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

7.    Die-cut a small leaf from the copper foil side of the DSP and emboss it with the Exposed Bricks 3D EF.  Attach it to the large leaf with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

8.    Create a small bow with the Copper Clay Jute Trim and attach at the bottom of the leaves with a Glue Dot.

9.    Ink up the sentiment “I’m Thankful” in Copper Clay ink and stamp on the Very Vanilla label die-cut from the Autumn Leaves Dies.  Attach the label with Stampin’ Dimensionals in the lower right side of the card.

10.  Add three Adhesive Backed Speckled Dots.

11.   On the inside, cut a ½” x 5-1/2” strip of DSP at the bottom.  Cut off extra with Paper Snips.

12.  Ink up the sentiment “Autumn Teaches Us That Change Can Be Beautiful” with Copper Clay ink in the center of the inside.
