Sending Smiles with All About Autumn Leaves

This is a card that I made for a friend's birthday next week.  I cut the cardstock so that when you open the card, you can see both sides of the All About Autumn DSP.  I used the Sending Smiles "birthday wishes" sentiment on this card because I already had it mounted on a block.

Stamp Set:  Sending Smiles

Cardstock:  Old Olive, Basic White, Copper Clay, 6” x 6” All About Autumn DSP

Ink:  Old Olive

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Paper Trimmer, Autumn Leaves Dies, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Old Olive cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4”.  Cut off 3-1/4” from the front.

2.    Cut a 1-1/4” x 5-1/2” of the DSP Metallic side of the leaves and adhered to the left front of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Die-cut an Old Olive and Copper Clay maple leaves with the Autumn Leaves Dies.

4.    Cut the DSP at 4” x 5-1/2” with the Paper Trimmer and attach with Multipurpose Glue to the inside flap of the front of the card.  You can see both sides of the DSP when you open the card.

5.    Ink up the sentiment “Birthday Wishes” from Sending Smiles stamp set of birthday greeting of choice with Old Olive ink on an Autumn Leaves Die label.  Attach to the top center of the card.  Attach the two leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals on either side.

6.    On the inside, cut Basic White cardstock at 4” x 5-1/4” and attach a leftover strip of the DSP on the right side.  Add sentiment of choice inside with Old Olive ink.
