Sparkling Snowflakes - Snowman

It might be a little early to post snowman cards because I'm still working on Halloween and Fall cards, but I couldn't resist making a new snowman card using the new Deckled Circle Dies which is a new product in the 2023 September-December Mini Catlaog.  I sponged them with Misty Moonlight and a Dauber.  The sentiment "Let it Snow" is from Sparkling Snowflakes.which comes as a bundle with the Sparkling Snowflakes Tag Topper Punch   The background is from the 12" x 12" Beary Christmas Designer Paper.

Stamp Set:  Sparkling Snowflakes

Cardstock:  Misty Moonlight, Balmy Blue, Basic Black, Basic White, 12 x 12” Them Bones DSP, 12” x 12” Beary Christmas DSP

Ink:  Misty Moonlight

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Deckled Circles Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Black and White Gingham Ribbon, Dauber, Hand-Held Punch, Tinsel Gem 3-Pack, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Misty Moonlight cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at 5-1/2” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Balmy Blue cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4” and adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the base front.

3.    The third layer is Beary Christmas DSP cut at 3-3/4” x 5” and adhered to the second layer with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

4.    To make the snowman, I used the Deckled Circles Dies using the smallest circle for the head, the third from the smallest for the middle body, and the fifth from the smallest for the lower body.  I sponged each circle with Misty Moonlight and a Dauber.

5.    I cut out 11 Basic Black hand-held punch circles and glued them on to his face and body with Multipurpose Liquid Glue…just a dot of it, not a lot!

6.    The carrot it cut from the Them Bones DSP that was pumpkin pie.

7.    I layered the lower body with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the front.  Then I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the middle body to attach to the lower body.  I attached the Black and White Gingham for his scarf and attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the middle body part.

8.    I inked up the sentiment “Let it Snow” from the Sparkling Snowflakes set on Basic White cardstock with Misty Moonlight ink and cut it out with a banner from the Stylish Shapes Dies.  I attached it with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added a Misty Moonlight Tinsel Gem on either side of the banner.

9.  On the inside, you can stamp some snowflakes using Balmy Blue and Misty Moonlight ink and add "make the season sparkle" sentiment in Misty Moonlight.
