Ice Cream Swirl - Celebrate

This is one of the new bundles in the 2024 Stampin' Up! January - April Mini Catalogs on page 37.  It is called Ice Cream Swirl.  Doesn't it look delicious?  The colors are Berry Burst and Bubble Bath.  The dies for the cone can be die-cut and embossed and used as a tag or cut them in half to make two cards.  There is also a stamp for the cone as well as the ice cream swirl, so you can make it any color you wish.  It has a strawberry, a cherry, sprinkles, a straw for a snow cone, a donut/lifesaver whichever you want to use it for and lots of sentiments for a total of 12 Photopolymer stamps.   The "Celebrate" is from the annual catalog using the Wanted to Say Dies.  I also added Adhesive Backed Sequins and Wink of Stella.  Here are my instructions; 

Stamp Set:  Ice Cream Swirl

Cardstock:  Berry Burst, Bubble Bath, Crumb Cake 6” x 6” Subtles DSP (Bubble Bath), Basic White, Vellum, White Center Specialty Paper (Berry Burst)

Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento, Stampin’ Blends (Berry Burst and Crumb Cake)

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Ice Cream Swirls Dies, Wanted to Say Dies, Deckled Circle Dies, Adhesive Sheets, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Stampin’ Seal, Adhesive Backed Sequins Trio, Wink of Stella Pen

 

1.     The base of the card is Berry Burst cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Bubble Bath cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4”.

3.    The third layer is Bubble Bath Soft Subtles DSP (circles) cut at 3-3/4” x 5”.

4.    The Vellum circle is cut at the 7th from the largest Deckled Circles Dies and adhered to the DSP with Stampin’ Seal.

5.    Die cut the cone using the Ice Cream Swirls Dies (with the impressions die).

6.    Cut the ice cream cones in half.

7.    Adhere the cone to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

8.    Die-cut the ice cream from the Ice Cream Swirls Dies using Bubble Bath cardstock.

9.    Die-cut the swirls from the Ice Cream Swirls Dies using Berry Burst Specialty Paper with Adhesive Sheets on the back.  Remove the backing. Adhere to the Bubble Bath Ice Cream.

10.  Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhere on top of the cone.

11.   Die-cut the “Celebrate” backing from the Wanted to Say Dies from Bubble Bath cardstock.

12.  Die-cut the “Celebrate” words from the Wanted to Say Dies using Adhesive Sheets on the back of the Berry Burst Specialty Paper.  Remove backing and adhere to the Bubble Bath backing.  Add Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere across the cone.

13.  Ink up the cherry stamp with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  Color it in with the Stampin’ Blends.  Add a Stampin’ Dimensional to the back and adhere to the cone.

14.  Add 3 Adhesive Backed Sequins.  Add Wink of Stella to the ice cream and sentiment.
