Darling Donkey under a Tree

Donkeys are so cute and during Sale-a-Bration months, you can earn the Darling Donkey stamp set FREE with a $50 purchase.  I've added the tree from the Sweet Silhouettes Die so that my donkey is sitting under a tree.  The grass is from Nature's Beauty stamp set.  The fence is from Birthday Chick Dies.  On the inside, I added another donkey from the Darling Donkey set and made a birthday card.
My instructions:
1.     The base of the card is Old Olive cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Basic White.  Use the Blending Brush for the sky using Balmy Blue and another Blending Brush for the grass using Old Olive.  Ink up the grass stamp from Nature’s Beauty with Old Olive ink and stamp it at the bottom of the card.

3.    Die-cut the Sweet Silhouette tree in the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine using Soft Suede cardstock and Old Olive cardstock.  Use the Paper Snips to trim away the leaves and attach to the Soft Suede branch of the tree.  Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to attach.  Adhere to the front of the card.  Die-cut three Crumb Cake fences from the Birthday Chick Dies and attaches to the bottom of the card above the grass.

4.    Ink up the donkey on a scrap of Basic White cardstock.  Color him in with the Stampin’ Blends Smoky Slate and Flirty Flamingo.  Cut him out with the Paper Snips.  Add Dimensionals to the back and attach them in front of the fence.

5.    For the inside: Use the Blending Brushes again to do the sky and grass.  Ink up the grass stamp with Old Olive.  Ink up the standing donkey with Memento Black ink and color him in with the Smoky Slate and Flirty Flamingo Blends.  Color the rose with Poppy Parade.

6.    Add the sentiment “Hey There, Friend….You’re the best!” with Memento Black ink.
