Friends are Like Seashells with Frost White Shimmer Paint

Do you enjoy finding seashells in the sand? What about finding new friends? Friends are like Seashells and you collect them along the way. This is a beautiful bundle with so many possibilities that I have not begun to try them all yet. This particular technique is applying Frost White Shimmer Paint to the cardstock which gives it a pearlized look.

My instructions:

1. The base of the card is Basic White cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2. The second layer is Misty Moonlight cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 5-1/4”.

3. The third layer is Misty Moonlight cardstock cut at 3-3/4” x 5”. Put about a dime-size of Frost White Shimmer Paint on the Silicone Craft Sheet. Take the Blending Brush and in circular motions, apply to the third layer of Misty Moonlight. Cover completely until satisfied and let dry for about a minute.

4. Once dry, insert the cardstock into the Seashells Embossing Folder and run it through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine. Adhere to the first layer with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

5. Ink up the sentiment “Happy Birthday to my beautiful friend” on Basic White cardstock with Midnight Moonlight ink. Trim with the Paper Snips with an angle at both ends. Attach with Dimensionals to the center of the card.

6. Add Seaside Shells stickers and Opal Rounds.

7. For the inside: Ink up the sentiment “I’m so happy I found you” with Midnight Moonlight ink and stamp on the center. Add a Seaside Shell sticker.
