Kindest Gnomes - In the Forest

 

Gnomes are very popular!  This is such a cute stamp set called Kindest Gnomes and I wanted to make it look like they lived in the forest, so I added the Grove Dies.  This comes as a Suite or Bundle in the 2022-2024 July-December Mini Catalog.  I added mushrooms and grass in front which are die-cut with the Gnomes Dies.  The gnome is cut from the DSP, but you can also stamp your own and color them with the Stampin' Blends, Watercolors Pencils, etc.

Here is my instructions:

Stamp Set:  Kindest Gnomes

Cardstock:  Poppy Parade, Soft Suede, Basic White, Pool Party, Pale Papaya, Storybook Gnomes DSP

Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento, Stampin’ Blend Balmy Blue

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Paper Trimmer, Gnomes Dies, Grove Dies, Stylish Shapes, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals

 

1.     The base of the card is Poppy Parade cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    Cut the DSP at 3-3/4” x 5”.

3.    The second layer is Soft Suede cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4”, The Soft Suede is die-cut with Grove Dies (trees).  Adhere the DSP behind the trees with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

4.    Die-cut a gnome from the DSP.  Die-cut Pool Party for the grass and Pale Papaya for the mushroom.  Adhere to the front of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Dimensionals.

5.    Die-cut a gnome from the Storybook Gnome DSP and add Balmy Blue Blend along the edges to give it more depth.  Add Dimensionals to the back and adhere to the front of the card.

6.    Die-cut a Stylish Shapes banner and ink up the sentiment ‘You Gnome Me So Well” with Tuxedo Black Memento.  Attach the banner at the top with Dimensionals.
