Trees For Sale - Adventure Awaits

I made this card today with a customer in mind who has a cute little yellow RV camper.  Her camper is white with a yellow stripe in the middle so it's not exactly like hers but close enough.  I took a photo of it and sent it to her in a text; she thought it was cute.  Here are the instructions for my card inspired by Amy Koenders.

Stamp Set:  Trees for Sale, Let’s Set Sail

Cardstock:  Starry Sky, Basic White, Daffodil Delight, Silver Foil, 2022-2024 6” x 6” In-Colors DSP

Ink:  Starry Sky, Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz, Garden Green, Balmy Blue, Crumb Cake

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Rectangle Stitched Framelit Dies, Tree Lot Dies, Blending Brushes, Glue Dots, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Starry Sky cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at 5-1/2” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is the Starry Sky 2022-2024 6” x 6” In-Color DSP cut at 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” and adhered to the front base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Die-cut a Rectangle Stitched Die from Basic White cardstock using the third from the largest die.

4.    Use the Balmy Blue ink and a Stampin’ Blend Brush for the sky and Crumb Cake ink for the ground covering.

5.    Ink up the three tree outline stamps using Pear Pizzazz ink for the large tree, Old Olive ink for the medium tree, and Garden Green ink for the small tree on Basic White cardstock.  Then use the same ink for the solid tree stamps.  Die-cut the trees with the Tree Lot Dies in the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.  Make several of each.

6.    Arrange the trees on the Basic White Stitched Die. Attach them with Glue Dots.

7.    Die-cut the RV camper with the die using Daffodil Delight and Basic White cardstock, Black for the tire, and Silver Foil for the trim.  Adhere together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, but use Dimensionals for the windows.  Die-cut the curtain from a scrap of DSP to match the card.  Adhere with Dimensionals.

8.    Ink up the sentiment “Adventure Awaits” from the stamp set Let's Set Sail with Starry Sky ink in the upper, right-hand corner.

9.    Adhere the Stitched Die with Dimensionals to the card.
