Kindest Gnomes - Pacific Point Christmas

Gnomes are so popular right now so I fell in love with the Kindest Gnomes in the 2022 July-December Mini Catalog. This is a card that I sort of cased from Lynn Dunn, but changed it somewhat.  Blue is my favorite color, so I couldn't help but recreate her card with Pacific Point which is one of the colors in the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper.  This card is perfect for my "Christmas in July" card club.

Stamp Set:  Kindest Gnomes

Cardstock:  Pacific Point, Basic White, Vellum, Storybook Gnomes DSP

Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento, Pacific Point

Stampin’ Blends:  Light and Dark Balmy Blue, Light Night of Navy, Ivory

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Stylish Shapes, Wonderful Snowflakes, Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder, Fine Sparkle Adhesive Backed Gems, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Pacific Point cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Basic White cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4”, inserted into the Painted Texture 3D Emboss Folder, and ran through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.  Adhere to the base card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Cut the Storybook Gnomes DSP at 2” x 4-1/2” (small snowflake), 2” x 4” (Vellum), and 2” x 3-1/4” (larger snowflakes).  Adhere the small snowflakes DSP to the left-center of the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then add the Vellum overlapping the DSP, but only put the glue in the center, or else the glue will show through.  Add the larger snowflakes DSP to the right side overlapping the Vellum.  Let dry!

4.    Die-cut a 2-1/2” Basic White stitched circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies.

5.    Ink up the gnome stamp with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and stamp directly in the circle's center.   Color the gnome in with the Stampin’ Blends.

6.    Add a Wonderful Snowflake to the top of the circle with Multipurpose Glue in the very center of the snowflake. Add Dimensionals to the back of the circle making sure to add them on the snowflake too.  Attach over the DSP and place it in the center of the card.

7.    Ink up the sentiment “Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year” on a strip of approximately ½” x 4” Basic White cardstock.  Adhere to the bottom of the card.

8.    Add 3 of the Fine Sparkle Adhesive Backed Gems.
