Adorable Owls meet Ringed with Nature

 


Stamp Sets:  Adorable Owls, Ringed with Nature

Cardstock:  Soft Suede, Parakeet Party, Crumb Cake, Basic White

Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento, Soft Suede

Stampin’ Blends:  Natural Blends Light and Medium

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing Folder, Timber Embossing Folder, Paper Snips, 1/8” Parakeet Party Metallic Woven Ribbon, Real Red and Burlap Ribbon Combo, Take-Your-Pick Tool, Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins, Scotch Tape, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals

 

1.     The base of the card is Soft Suede cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Parakeet Party cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4”. The third layer is Crumb Cake and inserted into the Timber Embossing Folder and run through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.  Layer together and add the Burlap Ribbon at the top and Scotch tape on the back.  Tie the 1/8” Parakeet Party Metallic Woven Ribbon at the top right and use the Take Your Pick Tool to separate the ends.

3.    Die-cut the largest tree ring with the Tree Ring Hybrid Embossing Folder using Soft Suede Cardstock. Stamp with Soft Suede ink on Crumb Cake cardstock and die-cut with the largest die tree ring insert.  Adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the Soft Suede tree ring.

4.    Die-cut two sprigs from Parakeet Party using the dies from the Tree Rings.  Add with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

5.    Ink up the flying owl with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Basic White.  Color in with the Stampin’ Blends and trim him out with Paper Snips and attach with Dimensionals.

6.     Ink up the “It’s Your Day” on Basic White cardstock and snip with the Paper Snips and attach with Dimensionals.

7.    Add 3 of the golden Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins.
