Country Bouquet - Happy Valentine's Day

This is a card I made but inspired by Stamp Crazy with Alison.  It uses the new set from the 2023 January-April Mini called Country Bouquet on page 10.  The stems do not come with the set, so I used the Paradise Palms for the stems, and it seemed to work okay.  Another set you could use for the stems is in the annual catalog called Flowering Tulips or any set you have with stems.  Here are my instructions for making this card:

Stamp Sets:  Country Bouquet, Paradise Palms

Cardstock:  Basic White, Country Floral Lane

Ink:  Sweet Sorbet, Mossy Meadow

Other:  Paper Trimmer, Country Bouquet Punch, Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Thick Basic White cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is the Country Floral Lane DSP cut at 4” x 4-1/4” and adhered to the front of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    The third layer is Basic White cardstock cut at 3-1/2” x 4-3/4”.  Ink up the “palm tree branch” with Mossy Meadow ink to create stems on the left for the Valentine flowers.

4.    Ink up the sentiment “Happy Valentine’s Day” with Mossy Meadow ink and stamp to the right of the flower stems.

5.    Ink up the heart stamp with Sweet Sorbet ink and stamp above the left stem.

6.    On a scrap of Basic White cardstock, ink up another heart with Sweet Sorbet.  Ink up the leaves with Mossy Meadow ink.  Punch them out with the Country Bouquet Punch and use Dimensionals to attach to the stems.

7.    Add three Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins.
