Love Cats - Valentine

This is another cat in the set Love Cats which now I've made cards with all three.  I think my grandchildren would love to receive a Valentine using this cat.  Here are the instructions below:

Stamp Set:  Love Cats

Cardstock:  Balmy Blue, Basic White, Sweet Sorbet, 6” x 6” Country Gingham DSP

Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento, Sweet Sorbet

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Paper Trimmer, Basic Borders Dies, Heart Punch Pack, Country Bouquet Punch, Real Red and Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack, Paper Snips, Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Balmy Blue cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is the 6” x 6” Country Gingham DSP cut at 3” x 5” and used the Basic Borders Die to make a banner.  Adhere the Real Red ribbon from the combo wrapped around the banner 1-3/4” down from the top.  Then adhere to the front of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Ink up the sentiment “Hi there, Valentine” with Sweet Sorbet ink towards the bottom of a Basic White heart punched out with the Heart Punch Pack.  Add the Basic White heart to a Sweet Sorbet scalloped heart punched out with other punch.  Add Dimensionals and place over the ribbon.

4.    Use the Stamparatus to ink up the black cat with Tuxedo Black Memento on Basic White cardstock.  Cut out with the Paper Snips and adhere to the heart above the sentiment with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

5.    Punch Sweet Sorbet hearts with the Country Bouquet Punch and add one big heart and two smaller ones below on the banner.

6.    Add three of the pink Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins.
