Celebrate Sunflowers Paper Pumpkin Box

The new Mini Paper Pumpkin Boxes are so much fun to decorate plus you can fill them up with treats because they are safe for food.  I put note cards and envelopes in mine.  I used the Stamparatus to create the checkerboard background for my box with the Buffalo Check Background stamp using the new In-Color ink pad, Misty Moonlight. So you'll want to cut a piece of Whisper White larger than 3-3/4" x 5-1/2 because that will be the size you trim it down to fit the box.  If you have any leftover, you can adhere it to the flap of the box. After I stamped the sunflower and colored it with the Stampin' Blends, I die cut it with the Sunflowers Dies.  I can't wait to create more ideas for my Mini Paper Pumpkin Boxes.  I was inspired by Chris Sloger.

Back on Your Feet - Just Jade

It seems we always need a "get well" card for someone.  This little turtle stamp from Back on Your Feet is a perfect little guy to cheer up someone who is not feeling well.  I colored him in with the Just Jade Stampin' Blends Combo.  I could have used some of the other greens that Stampin' Up! carries that would go well with Just Jade.  I decided to make this card a Monochromatic card instead to show off this new In-Color that will be around for a couple years.   So the cardstock, the ribbon, the Blends and DSP all coordinate.  That is what I like about Stampin' Up!  You don't have to search all over town or the internet to coordinate everything for your cards and projects.  I've listed all the supplies I have used to create this card below:

Tasteful Touches - You Are the Best

Each month, I do a swap with other Stampin' Up! demonstrators in the United States.  The theme was "New Catalog Swaps" so this is one of the new stamp sets that I ordered from the new catalog.  I love all the label dies that come with it as a Bundle to save 10%.   The new double sided tape Stampin' Seal is a lot stronger than the Snail Adhesive that Stampin' Up! used to have.  It holds a lot more too (16.4 yds. compared to 13.1 yds.) and just a dollar more.  They also carry Stampin' Seal + which is even stronger but great for 3-D projects and the same 16.4 yds.

The Big Shot is retired right now, but a newer version in the catalog is called Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine which will be available to customers September 1. There is also a Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine but we don't know when it will be available yet.   As a demonstrator, I will be able to preorder the new Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine in August.
For the month of June right now, there is a special.  If you love Stampin' Up! and want to get a discount even if it's just for your hobby, you can sign up this month for $99 and get $125 worth of product plus you get to choose a FREE BUNDLE of your choice from the catalog with your Starter Kit.   I'd love to have you join my team!

Celebrate Sunflowers - Thank You Swap

This is the first card I made using the new Celebrate Sunflowers set.  I did it for a swap this month.  I used the new In-Colors to create it which is Bumble Bee and Just Jade cardstock.  The base of the card is Soft Suede.  I ran the sunflower through the new Tasteful Textile after die cut it out.  I did the same with second layer.  I sponged the edges with Soft Suede.
Here is my instructions:

Stamp Set:  Celebrate Sunflowers #152517 (Page 13 of 2020-21 AC)
Bundle:  #154065 for $51.25 on page 175
Cardstock:  Soft Suede #115318, Bumble Bee #153077, Just Jade #153079
Ink:  Soft Suede #147115, Garden Green #102584
Other:  Die Cutting Machine, Sunflower Dies #152704, Tasteful Textile 3D Folder #152718, (N) Adhesive Sheets #152334, Sponge #141337, Multipurpose Glue #110755, Dimensionals #104430, Wink of Stella #141897

1.     The base of the card is Soft Suede cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.
2.    The second layer is Bumble Bee cardstock cut 4” x 5-1/4” and inserted into the 3D folder and run through the die-cutting machine.  Then ink up the edges with a Sponge and Soft Suede ink.  Adhere to the base card with Multipurpose Glue.
3.    Cut a 3-1/2” x 3-1/2” square of Soft Suede cardstock.
4.    Ink up two large leaves on Just Jade cardstock using Garden Green ink.  Die cut with the Sunflower Dies (leaf).  Adhere to the square with Multipurpose Glue in the top left corner and the bottom right corner.  Use Wink of Stella.
5.    With the outline die of the sunflower and using Bumble Bee cardstock, die cut the base of the sunflower.  Then insert it into the Tasteful Textile 3D Folder and run it through the die-cutting machine.  Sponge the edges of Soft Suede ink.
6.    Next use the detailed overlay sunflower die using the Bumble Bee cardstock.  I used an adhesive sheet for the backing so it is easier to adhere to the base of the sunflower.
7.    Die cut the center using Soft Suede cardstock and the Sunflower Die.  Adhere with a Dimensional.  Add Wink of Stella to the center of the sunflower.
8.    Attach Dimensionals to the back of the sunflower and attach to the Soft Suede square over the leaves.
