Stitched Stocking
This is a card I made using the Flirtatious Specialty DSP by cutting out the laser-cut double sided doily using the Whisper White side. I stamped the Stitched Srocking with the snowflake with Night of Navy ink onto Whisper White cardstock. Then I used the Stitched Stocking Punch to punch out my Stitched Stocking. I added Dimensionals on the back and attached to the front card onto the laser-cut doily. I added a Rhinestone in the center of the snowflake. The little label was made using the Decorative Label Punch. I stamped "Merry Christmas" with the Petite Pairs stamp set onto Whisper White cardstock. Then I took the punch and only punched half. I then took a post-it note so that I could reinsert it into the punch and to make sure by little label are rounded and equal on both sides. I sponged the edges with Night of Navy ink and attached it with Dimensionals.
Delicate Doily Wreath
This is a card I made using the Delicate Doilies stamp set. First, I inked up the large doily with Versamark and then Old Olive ink. I embossed it with Clear Embossing.
Then I colored it with an Old Oliver marker. I punched out the center with the 1" Circle Punch and the 2 1/2" Circle Punch. I attached Dimenionals to the back of the wreath and layered onto a piece of 3" x 3" Cherry Cobbler cardstock and 3 1/4"x 3 1/4" Olive cardstock. I stamped "Merry Christmas" in Old Oliver at the bottom of the Whisper White cardstock using the Four the Holidays stamp set. The bow was made using a fork using Cherry Cobbler 1/2" Seam Binding. The rhinestones were colored in with a Sharpie.

Stocking Dies
Sorry, I haven't posted in quite awhile but I've had some health issues recently that have put me behind in postings as well as stamping. Here are a few more stocking dies that I have created. I just love making these stockings.
I used the Christmas Lodge DSP to create this stocking as well as Cherry Cobbler Card stock, plus the Stocking Accents die to make the holly. Here is another one using the Christmas Lodge DSP with Marinia Mist Card stock.

Holiday Stocking Die with Accents
This is the first Holiday Stocking that I made using the Holiday Stocking Bigz L Die #124098 as well as the Stocking Accents #124099 in the Holiday Mini 2011. I just love making these stockings and there are so many ideas to choose to create them. They can be made as a gift card holder, as a folded card, or attaching a box between two stockings. The DSP is used is also from the Holiday Mini called Holly Berry Bouquet #124004 The colors I used to make the stocking are Wild Wasabi and Cherry Cobbler. I also used a sponge around the edges to give the stocking more depth. I'm off to make some more and will post them later.

Stitched Stocking for Christmas
This is another take from the previous card I posted today. Isn't the little label adorable? This punch technique idea using the Decorative Label Punch was from Patty Bennett, a very, talented fellow demo.
The stamp sets I used for this card are Stitched Stockings and Serene Snowflakes, Petite Pairs. The cardstock is Night of Navy, Whisper White, Baja Breeze. The ink is Night of Navy and Craft White. Other item used are Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder, Decorative Label Punch (made into a mini label), Dimensionals, Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon, Snow Burst Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Snail Adhesive, Dauber, Heat Tool, Versamarker, Stocking Builder Punch, Basic Rhinestones
Insert the Baja Breeze Cs into the Snow Burst embossing folder and emboss it with the Big Shot. Lightly tap White Craft ink onto the embossed snowflakes until they are as white as you would like them to be. Sprinkle on Iridescent Ice embossing powder and heat with the Heat Tool to melt. Ink up the Serene Snowflake with Night of Navy and stamp it randomly on the Whisper White cardstock. Ink up the Stitched Stocking stamp with Night of Navy and stamp on the scrap of Whisper White cs. Punch it out with the Stocking Builder Punch. Use the Versamarker on the heel, toe and top of the stocking. Sprinkle on Iridescent Ice embossing powder and heat with the Heat Tool to melt. Attach a small Basic Rhinestone on the center of the snowflake on the stocking. Put two Dimensionals on the back and attach to the Whisper White cs and then layer it onto the of Navy cs. Lay a piece of Baja Breeze seam binding ribbon across the Baja Breeze cs, so that it covers the bottom of the Whisper White cs stamped with snowflakes. Bring the ends of the ribbon around to the back and stick them down using Snail Adhesive and attach to the front of the Night of Navy folded card. Attach the punched out stocking over the ribbon. Stamp the “Merry Christmas” from Petite Pairs on the side of a scrap of Whisper White cs. Use the Decorative Label Punch to punch so that the verse is turned sideways to the left. Now take a post it note piece of paper to hold the half-punch and turn it so that it has two rounded sides on either side to match and to create the mini decorative label. Attach with Dimensional to the bottom right of the card. Don't you just love this little mini label. Now, we can use this punch to make two different size labels.
Snowburst Christmas
This card design was cased from Andrea Walford, a Canadian papercrafter and also from Patty Bennett, a fellow-demo in the USA. I combined both their ideas into this one card. The new Snowburst Embossing Folder in the Holiday Mini is my new favorite. I used Baja Breeze to run it through the Big Shot. Then I used White Craft Ink to rub over it and sprinkled with Iridescent Ice EP and heat embossed. That technique was from Andrea. The technique from Patty is that I cut out a laser-cut doily from the Flirtatious Specialty Designer Paper using the Whisper White side of the doily and attached it with 2-way Glue Pen to the front of my card. Then, I used the new stamp set Stitched Stocking with Night of Navy and punched it out with the new Stocking Builder Punch and attached two Dimensionals on the back to adhere to the front of the doily. I used a Rhinestone on the center of the snowflake on the stocking. I also embossed the cuff, heel and toe of the stocking with 2-way glue pen and Iridescent Ice EP. I stamped “Season’s Greetings” from the set Many Merry Messages. I also used the Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon and tied the bow using the fork technique that I learned from You Tube.

French Foliage - Rock and Roll
This is another card I made using French Foliage and Word Play. I'd orginally made this card for a Fall Swap I was in, but for some reason the hostess kept all of our cards and never sent us the other swaps. So, I recreated the same card and I plan to get them in the mail tomorrow and send them individually to the other stampers in the swap. I used the rock and roll technique again, but this time I inked them with Lucky Limeade and then rolled the edges in Island Indigo. I just love these two In-colors together. I cut them out and embossed them with Clear Embossing Powder. I used the Scallop Trim Border using the Rich Razzleberry cardstock and then I used the Square Lattice Embossing Powder using the Lucky Limeade. I also used Soft Suede on the Very Vanilla cardstock with the words in the background. I hope the swappers like my card.www.pinterest.com
French Foliage - Rock and Roll
Hi Stampers, Thanks for visiting my blog today. I thought I'd find time to post some of my fall cards I've made before I start posting Christmas cards. This is a card I made using the rock and roll technique. I inked up the leaf with Peach Parfait ink and then I inked the edges of the same stamp by rolling the edge of the stamp in Cherry Cobbler before stamping on the Very Vanilla cardstock. The base of the card is Cherry Cobbler and I stamped Happy Birthday on it from the set Bring on the Cake. On the single leaves, I applied Versamark after cutting them out and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder and attached them to the front of the card with a Dimensionals. I love these two colors together and hope you do too.

Wicked Cool Witches Boot - Halloween
I made a witches boot to include chewing gum and found this idea on a very talented, fellow demo named Frenchie. I wanted to make one too for Halloween. The boot is made using the new stocking die from the Holiday Mini. I cut out two Basic Black stockings and two 3" circles. I used the 1 3/4" circle punch to punch a half moon out of each circle and glued it to the stocking at the toe to make it look like a boot. Then I inserted one boot in the Spider Web embossing die. I lightly added White Craft ink with a Dauber to the embossed spider web. I used Elegant Eggplant to make the tops of the boot and inserted into the Houndstooth Embossing Folder and then attached them to the top of each boot. I attached the two boots together with Dimensionals. I used the stamp set "Wicked Cool" to stamp on Whisper White and punched it out with the 1" square punch. I used the Postage Stamp Punch to punch out of Pumpkie Pie cardstock. I used the Crop-a-dile to punch a hole and attached 1/8" Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon and attached the sign to the front of the boot top. I used the Word Window Punch on Pumpkin Pie cardstock and cut them in half with Paper Snips and inserted Glimmer Brads to each one and attached to the boot. I sprayed Shimmer Mist on mine when it was all finished. Then I used Pumpkin Pie cardstock and the Round Tab Punch to punch out a round tab to fold over the gum attaching it with glue dots and punched a hole for the 1/8" Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon to pull it out with.

Hello Doily
This is a card I made in July and realized I never posted it. It is made with Hello Doily and using the Doily Triple Layer Punch. First I stamped on Whisper White with Concord Crush ink. I trimmed it out and adhered to a Wisteria Wonder folded card that I had stamped with Delicate Doilies stamps with Wisteria Wonder ink. Next, I stamped another Hello Doily stamp on Whisper using Wisteria Wonder ink only I trimmed the inside of the doily and adhered it on top of the Concord Crush doily with Dimensionals. Last, I used the Doily Triple Layer Punch using Concord Crush and Whisper White.

Jack of All Trades (Hat Trick)
This a fun card that I made using Concord Crush, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White cardstock using three different stamp sets from 2011 Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog
called Jack of All Trades, Scaredy Cat, and Grateful Greetings.
The card has an insert with a dimensional at the very top to hold the hat. On the front of the card, the hat is on the large pumpkin, but when you pull out the insert, the hat is on the small pumkin.

Got Treats for Halloween
This is a card I tried to make more than one of, but it was difficult to emboss on the window sheets. I tried using the embossing buddy, but it made it worse. Anyway, I used Got Treats, Wicked Cool and Scaredy Cat to make this magic card and I'd hoped to make it for some swaps, but it is just not going to happen unless someone has a suggestion on how to emboss on window sheets.

Jack of All Trades for Halloween
I created this card for a Halloween Swap I was in. It uses the new sets "Jack of All Trades" and "Scaredy Cat" from the Idea Book & Catalog for 2011-2012. The basic card was made with Old Olive. I cut the Frightful Sight DSP at 2 1/2" x 4" and the pumpkin is stamped with Cajun Craze on Whisper White CS at 2 1/2" x 3" and sponged the edges with Cajun Craze. The face is stamped with Basic Black in. Then I adhered it onto a 2 3/4" x 3 1/4" Basic Black cardstock. I stamped the Boooooooooo with Basic Black ink on a 3 1/2" x 1" Whisper White CS and sponged the edges with Cajun Craze and adhered it to 3 3/4" x 1 1/4" Basic Black CS. The hat was stamped on Whisper White and trimmed out and putting dimensionals on the back to add to the pumpkin. I tied a bow with the Basic Black 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon and attached to his hat.

Delicate Doilies
This is a new set in the Idea Book & Catalog 2011 that I was able to preorder. It is called Delicate Doilies and it is on page 127 of the catalog. I used new In-colors for this card using Island Indigo and Pool Party. I stamped the doily stamp on Crumb Cake using Versamark and White Embossing Powder. After I heat set the doily, I colored in part of it with the in-Color markers. I used the set Word Play "Wish Big" stamp in Island Indigo. I stamped a smaller doily using Island Indigo on the background and then used embossing folders in the Big Shot. Then I sued the Eyelet Border Punch on Whisper White cardstock to attach to the top and bottom of the Crumb Cake. This card was inspired by Heather Cserni.

SAIL AWAY
This is the set Sail Away from the Summer Mini which is still available until the end of August,2011. I used the Square Lattice Embossing Folder through the Big Shot on the Whisper White cardstock. I used the 1 3/4" Circle Punch on a piece of 3" x 3" piece of copy paper to use as my template for the sun. Then I sponged in the circle hole with Daffodil Delight and then Pumpkin Pie. I used the same for the reflection in the water. I used Baja Breeze for the sky and Marina Mist for the water by using different sponges. Then I stamped the sailboat with Early Espresso onto the front of the card. I stamped it again on a piece of white scrap and cut out the sails and attached with dimensionals.

Best Dad Ever
This is a card I swapped last month with the set "Best Dad Ever" using Night of Navy, Bashful Blue and Garden Green cardstock. I used markers to colors in the ties. In the middle tie, I attached it with dimensionals and added a Jewels Basic Rhinestone. Happy Father's Day to all the dad's out there this weekend.

Last Butterfly
This is another butterfly card and probably the last one until next time I get the urge to make more. Anyway, I did this one in a swap. I used Basic Black, Daffodil Delight and Whisper White cardstock. I used the new Strength & Hope stamp set from the Summer Mini. Stampin' Up! donates $2 from the purchase of this set to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. I inked the butterfly in Daffodil Delight and then sponged the edges with Basic Black.
Pacific Point Butterfly
This is another butterfly card I made. I used Pacific Point and Whisper White card stock. I also used the embossing folders, Square Lattice and Finial Press on the Whisper White background. The stamp set I used was Hope Happens. The butterfly die is called Beautiful Butterflies and after I cut it out, I ran it through the Elegant Lines embossing folder. I used the Whisper White Organza ribbon with a Circle Ice Rhinestone Brad and the Basic Pearls on the butterfly.

Butterfly
This is a card design from the Paper Crafter's Library that I learned to make from Andrea Walford. I used the Sweet and Sour Specialty Paper with Rose Red and Very Vanilla cardstock. I used the Top Note Die for the Rose Red and Very Vanilla and trimmed the outer edge of the Very Vanilla with Paper Snips. I used the Versamark Pad to emboss the Word Play verse with black embossing powder. I used the butterfly dies to cut out the butterflies and attached Jewels Basic Pearls. This is another card I made in honor of my mother-in-law and her love for butterflies.

Skinny Bag Treats for Easter Bunnies
I've been having fun making these cute little bunnies to put on the top of my skinny bags, an idea that I saw on Cindee Wilkinson's website. The skinny bags are filled with Sweetarts Jelly Beans (oh, so good!). I bought the skinny bags from a bulk group I belong to called "Seaside Crafts." The bunny is made with the Extra Large Ornament punch for his head trimmed off and turned upside down. His cheeks are made with the 1/2" Circle Punch and sponged around the edges with dimensionals on the back. The nose is from the smallest heart to the Heart to Heart punch. The eyes are from the smalled circle eyes from the Owl Punch. I used a white gel pen to highlight his eyes and attached them with glue dots. The ears are made with the Small and Large Oval punches. I'm going to give these out to co-workers on Friday.

Tealight Candle Stamping Butterfly
This is a tealight candle that I stamped with the Flight of the Butterfly polka-dot butterfly stamp. First, I stamped it with Melon Mango on tissue paper with copy paper to support it in order to cut it out with a circle punch. Then I used my hand-held 1/16" Punch to punch a hole in the center to put over the wick. Heat set until tissue melts into the wax. I put Easter grass inside a small flat cellophane bag. I cut out a Top Note Die for the topper by scoring at point to point and folding. I used Jewel Rhinestones on the butterfly after punch him out. This is for decorative purposes only as the tissue paper could catch on fire.

Easter Blossoms
I've been away from my blog for awhile because of the loss of my very dear mother-in-law. I was lucky to have her in my life. She was a great lady and I will miss her so much. This is a card I did in February before that sad day. It is made using the stamp set "Easter Blossoms" from the Occasions Mini catalog. I used Marina Mist cardstock and used the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder on the front of the card. I inked up the blossoms with Black Stazon and stamped on Glossy White cardstock. Then I took a white crayon and colored in each blossoms. Then I used a sponge on the lower part with Garden Green and then another sponge for the top part using Marina Mist ink. Afterwards, I took a tissue to wipe off the excess crayon to create the "crayon resist" technique. Afterwards, I layered the glossy onto Garden Green card stock and then again on Basic Black to attach to the front of the card. I inked up "Sending Springtime Smiles" with the Black Stazon on Whisper White cs and used the large oval punch to punch it out. Then used the Scallop Oval punch in Garden Green card stock. Attach the punched oval to the scallop oval using Snail Adhesive and attach to the lower right side o the card with dimensionals. Tie a bow in the Marina Mist Grosgrain Ribbon and attach to the upper left side of the card with a Glue Dot.

Valentine Basket
I made this Valentine Basket today after one of my customer's sister came to our workshop yesterday and designed something similar. First, I cut my Whisper White cardstock at 5"x5" and cut it out with the Scallop Square. Between the third and fourth scallop, I scored it on all four sides and creased really good with the Bone Folder. Then I applied hearts with Snail Adhesive on the four middle sections. Next put the square through the Square Lattice Embossing Folder through the Big Shot so the hearts become embedded into the sides. Now, you might want to fold it on your score lines again because you'll need to cut up to the fold on the two sides opposite each other to form your basket. Use a 1/16" hole punch to punch through your basket. The handle is about 6" long and 3/4" wide. I used the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch on Real Red cardstock and attach it to Whisper White handle with Snail Adhesive for the handle. I used silver brads and tied red ribbon on each side.

Be My Valentine
This is a single stamp set from the Occasions Mini called By My Valentine. I stamped in Real Red ink on Whisper White. Then I stamped it again on Whisper White using Stazon Black, and trimmed out the banner. I attached it with Dimenionals to the heart.
Basic Black cardstock is the background of the heart, but first I ran it through the Big Shot using the Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
The basic card is Real Red cardstock and I used the new Textured Impressions Framed Tulips Embossing Folder for the front of the card.

Imbedded Embossing Technique
I just learned this technique tonight and I wanted to use the flamingos from the set from the Occassions Mini called "Valentine Defined". I punched out the hearts using the Heart to Heart Punch and used Snail Adhesive to glue them onto the Basic Black cardstock. Then I placed inside the Square Lattice Embossing Folder through the Big Shot.
Crayon Resist Fifth Avenue Floral
This was made with the rose from "Fifth Avenue Floral" and also the verse stamp from the set "With All My Heart" stamped on Glossy White cardstock with Jet Black Stazon Ink. I colored parts of the rose with a white crayon. Then I sponged it with Rose Red and wiped the crayon marks off with a tissue to create the crayon resist technique.

Owl Love
This card was made with Real Red and Whisper White cardstock. The stamp set is from the Sale-a-Bration Mini 2011 called Punch Bunch and I used the verse "Love" from the stamp set Valentine Defined from the Occasions Mini Catalog, 2011. First I used the Whisper White cardstock through my Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder. I used the Owl Punch to punch him out after I stamped him with Real Red ink.
I used Real Red cardstock for the Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit I ran through my Big Shot attached it with Snail Adhesive to the front of the card and attached the owl with Dimensionals. I also used the large oval punch and scallop oval punch.
Flamingo Love
This is my sample of a similar card that Michelle Zindorf made using a brayer and sponges, using the Valentine Defined set from the Occasions Mini Catalog. It is made using Whisper White cardstock. The colors used are also Mango Melon and Rich Razzleberry. So Saffron was used for the sun after it was masked. Old Olive and Basic Black was used for the heart plants.
Valentine Defined
This Valentine card was made with Real Red, Pretty in Pink and Whisper White. The stamp set used is Valentine Define in the Occasions Mini Catalog 2011. I used ink markers Garden Green, and Real Red. Basic Black ink was used for the {Love}and used the large oval punch and Extra Large Scallop Oval Punch to punch out the Whisper White Oval and the Real Red Scallop Oval. I used the heart punches for the heart flowers and used dimensionals to apply them to the front of the card. I used the Pinking Heart Border on both sides of the Pretty in Pink cardstock.

Kisses and Fishes
This is my version of a very cute Valentine card that I saw posted by another demo, Michelle Surette, but I used different colors. I used the Movers and Shapers Modern Label Punch with Real Red cardstock. I typed "Kisses and Fishes" on the computer and printed it out on Whisper White card stock. Then I punched it out with the Modern Label Punch to layer onto the red label. The fishes were made with the Ornament Punch for their fish body and the 5-Petal Flower Punch for their fins.
