Whale Done - Double Z Fold Card

After making the Double-Z Fold card with the Friends Are Like Seashells, I decided to create another one using the Whale Done stamp set with the Whale of a Time DSP.  These are so much fun to make.  Here are my instructions:1.     The base of the card is Thick Whisper White cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored 4-1/4” and 2-1/8”.  Use a Bone Folder to burnish the score lines.

2.    Cut the DSP for the front section and the middle section of the base card at 2” x 5-1/4 one at 4” x 5-1/4” for the largest section of the card.

3.    The Basic White strip is 2” x 8-1/5” scored 4-1/4” x 2-1/8”.  Use a Bone Folder to burnish the score lines.

4.    To layer on the Basic White strip, cut the Whale of a Time DSP with one at 1-7/8” x 4” for the front and two at 1-7/8” x 2” for the middle and last section of the Basic White Strip.  Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere.

5.    Die-cut a Whisper White rectangle with the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  Ink up the sentiment “Whale done” with Pacific Point ink.  Adhere to the center of the DSP front.

6.    Ink up the whale stamp with Pacific Point ink and punch it out with the Whale Builder Punch.  Adhere it with Dimensionals to the right of the sentiment.

7.    Attach the Basic White Strip to the first section of the card and the last section of the card.

8.    With the Paper Snips, trim out a turtle from the Whale of a Time DSP. Die-cut a Whisper White rectangle with the Stitched Rectangles Dies.  Adhere the turtle to it with Dimensionals and adhere to the last section of the base card at the top right.
