Merry Mice

The other day I had another chance to make a Merry Mice card with this adorable stamp set in the Holiday catalog.  It also one of the stamp sets that 25% discounted this month.  The base of my card is Garden Green cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored at 5-1/2" in the middle.  The second layer is Cherry Cobbler cut at 4" x 5-1/4" and I love these two colors together.  I used the Cherry Cobbler cardstock and 2" x 5-1/4" of Garden Green cardstock in the new Cable Knit Dynamic TIEF in the Big Shot. I then glued them to the front of the card as shown in the picture.  Next, ink up the mouse with Black Stazon and stamp the image on Whisper White cardstock.  Color it in with Stampin' Write markers,  I used Cherry Cobbler,  Garden Green, Sahara Sand, Blushing Bride, and Crushed Curry. Then die cut the image out  with the Lots of Labels Framelits in the Big shot.  Die cut the next size die from the Gold Glimmer Paper.  Layer them together and put Dimensionals on the back to add to the center of the card.  Take the new Baker's Twine Trio Pack from the Holiday Catalog and tie them in a bow.  Attach with a Glue Dot.

Jolly Friends Matchbook

These are little matchbook Tic Tac Holders that my club members made at Club today, but I'm sure you could use other little packages of the same size or slightly bigger..  However, I bought the little Tic Tac packages at Walmart and they come 50 to a package.  We used the Jolly Friends stamp set stamped with Stazon and colored in with Stampin' Write markers.  Then, we punched out the Jolly Hat Builder Punch from Real Red and Whisper White.  The elf hat was stamped with Garden Green.  The cardstock base is Crumb Cake cut at 1-3/4" x 4-1/2" and scored at 1/2", 2-1/2", 2-3/4".  We used the Handheld Stapler to stamp the package inside and covered the staple with 1/2" x 1-3/4" Warmth & Cheer DSP.  They stamped Ho! Ho! Ho! inside from the Greetings from Santa set with Real Red or Cherry Cobbler ink.  We used the Wink of Stella on Santa's mustache, beard and trim.

Jar of Love

I've always enjoyed canning jars.  We used to have huge gardens and I loved to can so many delicious garden vegetables.  I felt like a prisoner in a canning factory many summers.  My days of canning are over, but I've collected a lot of antique jars throughout my lifetime, and I like to decorate with them now.   So I couldn't wait to order the set Jar of Love in the new 2016-2017 Annual Catalog.  The base of my card is Pool Party that is 4-1/4" x 11" and scored at 5-1/2" in the middle.  I've attached a Serene Scenery DSP cut at 4" x 5-1/4" to the front of my card.  The doily is sponged with Crumb cake to give an antique or tea-stain look.  I stamped the jar on vellum with Stazon Black and let it dry completely before using a Pool Party marker on the back for the water inside my jar.  I stamped the stems and leaves with Pear Pizzazz, the flowers are Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Black Stazon for the centers.  I cut them all out with the Everyday Jar Framelits in the Big Shot.  I attached the flowers with Dimensionals and Glue Dots.  The bow is Bermuda Bay.
